FEBS New Developments in RNA Biology Workshop

The FEBS International Workshop on RNA Biology will be held as a satellite meeting of the FEBS-IUBMB meeting of Sevilla 2012. This workshop will take place in Tavira, Portugal, on September 1-4, 2012. Travel arrangements will be made for those of you interested in attending the Sevilla FEBS-IUBMB meeting, which will start on the evening of September 4th. Travelling from Tavira to Sevilla will take only a couple of hours by bus. Early registration and abstract submission: 15 May 2012.

Canal BQ issue on Biomembranes and Transport

The July 2011 issue of Canal BQ is out. In this issue, Canal BQ brings together five review articles on membrane biology and approaches to assess membrane structure and function. Five Portuguese research teams have been invited to discuss recent developments in the field. All articles have been written in English to promote a wider audience to the SPB journal.

Sevilla 2012

SBP would like to announce that all the information pertaining to Sevillha 2012 - 22nd IUBMB International Congress of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and 37th FEBS Congress is already available at the website of the meeting. We would also like to remind our members that SPB is a partner society of this congress and we thus invite all SPB members to be active participants in the planned sessions. The general theme of this meeting is From Single Molecules to Systems Biology.
