Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS)
The Portuguese Biochemical Society is a member of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS). You can go and visit the FEBS site for news, fellowships, meetings, etc.
Other International Federations / Unions
The Portuguese Biochemical Society has also established a partnership with other international organizations promoting the learning and research in the scientific field of biochemistry and molecular biology, namely:
- International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) - FEBS and IUBMB come together regularly and organize FEBS meetings. Go to the News page to read about current events organized by SPB, FEBS and IUBMB.
- Panamerican Association for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PABMB) - The PABMB is the Panamerican FEBS' counterpart. SPB has also links with PABMB. The Executive Committee of SPB will seek deeper ties with PABMB in the future.
