27^th IUBMB FASBMB SASBMB Congress

The Congress will be co-hosted by three prestigious bioscience and biotechnology organisations: IUBMB, SASBMB, and FASBMB. The overarching theme of the Congress is: Biochemical and Molecular Innovation for a Sustainable World. There will be a dedicated pre-congress Young Scientists Programme which will include career development, education and networking opportunities. Early Bird Registration will open 1st September 2026.

The Young Scientist Programme is designed to empower the next generation of biochemists and molecular biologists by providing opportunities to:

• Learn from internationally recognised scientists and leaders in the field.
• Connect with peers from around the world and build lasting professional collaborations.
• Present your research in a supportive and inclusive environment while receiving valuable feedback.
• Develop your skills through workshops, training sessions, and career development activities.
• Be inspired by joining a diverse community of emerging scientists committed to advancing the life sciences.
